((ooc: moved from yon streets :D))

Anaiyak wandered the cold streets, in search of amusement or excitement, just something to brighten up the other wise dull night. A fog approached from behind him, and as it swept past a chill ran from his neck down his spine. He had the itching feeling that his night might be looking up, but in a very down way, in a very sinister way. He started to speed up a little, as he tightened his fists in the pockets of his parker pulling it shut tighter.

To his left, there was a ladder, coming down from the roof of an apartment block, "Maybe i see ove the fog up here, as dense as it is," he thought to himself. When he reached the top of the building, he saw the fog had only cleared slightly. Groaning slightly, feeling a little let down, he transformed into his wolven form.

Arching his back, he let out a ear piercing howl, and began across the roof, leaping roof to roof for three blocks. As he landed from a jump, he slid to a stop ears peaked up listening out for something he though he had heard.

And he had heard something, soft, sinister singing...who ever it was, they weren't very good, it would have brought a smile to his face if hadn't seemed so menacing, "Hush little baby..." the voice came from below.

The chill returned, and as he returned to his human form, a million thoughts buzzed through his head. Though there was nothing to go on, he still had a bad feeling about it. He crept towards th edge, peering ever so slowly over the edge, through the fog. He saw i figure, bent down over another, the sillouhette of another figure standing up right, and the shadow of a motionless body further down the ally. His blood ran cold, and his mind went beserk, dragging forward memories he had tried to suppress all through out his life as a lycan, he curled up into a ball, unconscious, unkowing, wishing to be a million miles away...

As Chelsia returned the last of the seven dogs she had been walking to a couple on the sixth floor of the complex, a wave of relief swept over her. Finally her day was over and she could have a bit of time to herself. She popped into the apartment she and her mom shared on the third floor to let her know she was going to sit on the roof for a while. As she made her way to the elevator she went over the past week in her mind.

Not too much had happened... She got a few good poems written, aced a math test, composed a few more scores of her music theory exam, transformed into a huge beast and hunted small animals in the forest a few times...

She got out of the elevator on the sixth floor and walked up the stairs to the rooftop. When she got there, she climbed the small ladder that led to the top of the stairwell landing roof and sat quietly, staring at the night sky. She took her mp3 player and her journal out of her backpack and began to write about her day while she listened to Hoppipolla. Sigur Ros created, by far, the best modern day scores she had ever read.

Something about the city was wrong tonight. She sniffed at the air and smelled fire but that wasn't what was wrong in Anroya. Her bones chilled and she shivered slightly pulling out a sweater from her pack and draping it over her bare legs. She loved how the blue in the sweater matched the pink edges of the daisies on her white sundress. She smiled as she thought of the trip out city with her mom when they found the dress at a little botique in a small town. Then her brow furrowed as thinking of her mother alwas eventually led to thinking of her father...

How long had it been now since that creature had bitten them? She used to think she would always know the exact amount of seconds it had been since that day, since that moment. Now, she was what she was and the event was slowly fading from her memory. Just like her father. Just like her tears when she found his body in the forest, mangled and peirced with that treacherous silver arrow. She had run home that night in lycan form and didn't bother to change back until she reached the third floor landing in the stairwell. The days after that were so jumbled in her mind. She knew she couldn't tell anyone her dark secret. They hadn't told her mother and, after her father died, she didn't plan to. The less people who knew about her, the safer she was.

Movement from the corner of her eye caught her attention. A large lycan had just leapt across the buildings onto the roof she was on and crossed it slowly shifting back into human form. She cringed as she watched it lean over the edge, watching something happening below. She didn't know any other creatures like her and seeing on so close up made her curious. She sat up straight and strained her eyes to see through the fog.

"Oh my gods!" The creature had fallen to his knees and was curling up quietly whimpering. She jumped off the top of the exit and fell to her knees, skinning them both badly. She ran over to the creature and turned him over staring down at him with scared eyes.

"Please get up. What's wrong? Please, I'm trying to help you." A tear rolled down her cheek as she tried to wake the lycan boy. She didn't dare peak over the edge. She felt whatever was there was better left alone...

Her mp3 player switched songs and the lycan boy stirred from her shakings.

((ooc: okeeeysh, some autoing in this one, In order to keep in accordance with the RP for Dummies Guidelines, this post has been thouroughly planned ahead of submission with onefourth AKA Quiet Miss Creation AKA Andy AKA Andrea ^_^.))

Anaiyak awoke slowly, murmuring shakily as he woke..."Th-They, he, she...them!" he said, shaking violently, "wh-who are you? How much did you see?" he said, the fear inside him heightened, as he thought of his secret, as he realised she may have seen him. Chelsia looked surprised as the young man spoke to her…"I-I...My name is Chelsia, I live in this building. I saw you come onto the roof and phase out of lycan form and… and... you just..." Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked into his. Anaiyak sat there, dumbstruck with fear, "You aren't going to...turn me in? Are you?" Chelsia's hazel eyes grew large and frightened. "Turn you... Turn you in so you can be killed!?! I would never wish harm on anyone." Her tears were streaming down her face now as she stared hopelessly at Anaiyak.

Anaiyak sat there...thinking, “I can't just leave, not now he is so worked up” he continued to sit there, still thinking, and staring at this girl he didn't know, staring into her tearful eyes. "So you would rather save a life than risk many more?" he said, attempting to think from her perspective.

He returned to his mind…”Can I trust her? How do I know?” He made up his mind, he would entrust her with his secret, maybe he could get back to a normal human life, one with love and compassion as opposed to always being the one of the outside, cold and looking in…

“So, here we are,” he sighed, finally feeling calm waiting on an answer…

Chelsia blinked as her tears slowed and, eventually, stopped. She looked down at her knees that were already healing up and covered them with her hands. There was an uncomfortable silence as she stared at her hands. She wanted so much to have someone to share her secrets with. But could she really trust this boy. Over a million questions raced through her mind suddenlly and just as suddenly, stopped. She was open to the vibes of the city more so than she had ever been. She realized just how many abnormalities were actually around her. She didn't feel as alone as se always had.

Chelsia looked up at the lycan in front of her. She stripped bare of her clothing and phase shifted into full lycan form standing before him in the shape she had hidded from everyone for three and a half years.

Anaiyak was surprised, if a little shocked as Chelsia started removing her clothing. His eyes widened further as she slowly changed shape, at first he thought he was blacking out again, but it wasn't, nor was he halucinating, she was really changing. As she slowly shifted, noticing himself his was still in his tattered clothes that he forgot to remove when his first transformed.

Seeing her transformed made him feel more comfortable to transform back, and even though she hadn't answered his question, he got something better than any answer, he got something better than he could ever have hoped for...

Chelsia stood there, head tilted to one side, sizing up the beast in front of her. He seemed just as comfortable as she was in his full lycan form. She walked around him twice and stopped in front of him, facing him again. She decided to shift back down into human form and did so at lightening speed. It used to hurt when she phased. Now it was as if she had been doing it all her life. She watched hew new companion do the same without so much as a grimace. His clothes were tattered to Hell and she herself stood bare in front of him.

Her wide eyes met his as he handed her her dress that had been on the ground at his feet. A small smile crept across her face. As she took the dress from him her fingers carressed his slightly. She put her clothes on and gathered her belongings that had scattered when she jumped off the exit. Looking down at her watch, Chelsia jumped slightly. Five past one am... she needed to get home or her mother would worry.

"I'm so sorry. I've got to go. I'm sure we'll meet again." She bounded into the building and down the stariwell all the wat to the third floor. As she entered the apartment she realized that her mother had already gone to bed. She must have had another hard day.

She crossed the apartment to her bedroom and smiled as she opened the door and looked to the window. Laying her belongings on her bed, she quickly changed into shorts and a matching t-shirt to sleep in, though she wasn't tired in the least. Not after that...

She opened the window and sat on the small ledge, her bare, pale legs hanging out of it. Pulling her hair back out of her face, she reveled in the fresh memory of the event that had just occured.
